MUSTON PARISH COUNCIL ARE HERE TO HELP YOU!

 

Your Parish Councillors are working to create a network of volunteers to help residents who may find themselves having to self-isolate over the coming months.

 If you need shopping collecting or delivered, prescriptions collected, pets walked or just to have a chat please feel free to contact any of the following people in the first instance –

Over the next few weeks we will be expanding the contact list, please remember do NOT hand money or personal details over to anyone you do not know and if you are not sure who you are speaking to at the door/ phone double check with one of us above.

  • Nicky and Linda at The Ship are offering a meal on wheels service, a specially designed menu will be delivered to you all soon. They can also supply milk and eggs. They can take card payments over the phone, please call 01723 514639.
  • Nick and Christina Ingham from The Boat Shed in Filey can deliver freshly made pizza on an evening please phone on 01723 643002.
  • If you have access to the internet, please keep an eye on our Muston Parish Council website at mustonparishcouncil.com for updated news and information plus there are another number of local groups such as Filey Lions and Pull together Filey – Covid19 both found on Facebook, which you may find useful.
  • If you think you can expand on this list of local suppliers and sources of useful information, then please feel free to message any of the Councillors with the appropriate details.

We are fortunate in Muston to have a strong community spirit but, in these very unusual times being good neighbours goes along way and there is a lot we can do to help look after our more vulnerable residents. A phone call, a text message or a note through the door can have a huge impact on a person’s wellbeing.
